Beginners course - Wheel throwing

In this six-week course, Kitty Huijzer (Ceramics by Kitty Huijzer) guides you step by step through making your first vessels on the pottery wheel. Kitty is an experienced wheel thrower, trained at the Nederlandse Keramiek Opleiding (School of Ceramics, the Netherlands).

The course runs on six Tuesday mornings from 9:30 to 12:00.

Each lesson builds on the last, so you enrol for the full course and missed lessons can't be made up.

Weekly courses

In these lessons you’ll learn everything there is to know about wheel throwing. Lessons are very suitable for advanced students, but beginners willing to commit to a longer course are welcome too.

There are three course periods during the year: Sept-Dec, Jan-Apr, May-July.
