Mold making workshop

Are you interested in creating a mold for your ceramics but are you new to this way of creating a ceramic vessel? This workshops leaves you with at least one, maybe two small sized molds. You learn the process of making a simple ceramic mold so you can reproduce your design in porcelain or stoneware. The final mold can be used for slipcasting after a drying time of three weeks.

This is a two-day workshop for those already acquainted with clay.

Evening 1: Studying shapes and forms, creating a loosening shape out of raw clay.

Evening 2: Turning and finalizing your design or designs and casting your plaster mold.

• We work between 19:30-22:00

• Costs 95 euro (KAOLIN students: 15% off)

• On the second evening you can bring your mold home to let it dry properly before slipcasting it for the first time after 3 weeks.
